Who We Are
The National Institute for Skill and Entrepreneurship Development (NISED) is an autonomous skill development and entrepreneurship training institute in India, functioning under the National Skill Development Trust, registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882.
NISED is committed to strengthening India’s skill and entrepreneurship ecosystem by delivering structured skill development programs, entrepreneurship development training, and livelihood promotion initiatives aligned with national priorities and global development goals.

Our team
The faculty team at the National Institute of Skill & Entrepreneurship Development (NISED) brings together a diverse group of highly experienced professionals, including retired government officers, senior management trainers, vocational education experts, rural development practitioners, and industry specialists. Each faculty member contributes deep practical knowledge, strong field experience, and a commitment to community-oriented skill development.
Their combined expertise ensures that NISED’s courses remain structured, practical, and aligned with the evolving needs of youth, women, farmers, and emerging entrepreneurs, while maintaining the clarity and accessibility required for effective nationwide training delivery.


DIRECTOR
James Dominic brings extensive experience in skill development, vocational training, and livelihood promotion.
He is a former principal of KGV, BKFM (retired) under the Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board and has conducted over 500 training sessions across India, impacting youth, women, and rural entrepreneurs.
A rank holder from the Pune Beekeeping and Research Institute, Mr. Dominic is recognized as one of the pioneers of apiculture training in India. His expertise in beekeeping, rural entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihood models has played a key role in promoting self-employment and enterprise development, particularly in rural communities.
Under his leadership, NISED continues to deliver industry-relevant skill development and entrepreneurship training programs aligned with national priorities and sustainable development goals.
